MY FIRST CAR SHOW -  (Click on the thumbnails for a larger image)
First car show ever and I pulled 3rd place, I impressed myself.

I've been to them before, but never had anything to enter, now I had my chance. Here we have the Sports Car & Vintage Auto Festival. It's very large. In 1996, their 25th year, they had over 1100 cars and over 10,000 spectators. It's put on by the MG Car Club of Western New York Centre and the Victor Lions Club. I spent many hours this week polishing and cleaning, made new kick panels, wiped away all  the undercarriage. It paid off - I won 3rd place. I'm very pleased. I didn't expect to win, just wanted to get an idea of where the car would place, so coming in the top 3 made my day. Sorry the pictures are on the dark side - the day started out ok, but then some clouds moved in -
