Here are the people that helped me
with this project - Thanks to all of them!!
Barbara Zak - besides providing the
encouragement to do the project, Barbara did a tremendous amount
of work stripping the TR7 so we could sell it and provide the bucks
to buy the MGB project.
Mike Fitzsimmons - He was the
seed for the project - started the project, gathered much of the
research and parts. He also mounted the rear end in the car, did
a great job, and had some very innovative ideas that I've not seen
in other conversions.
Kurts Garage, Hudson Ave, Rochester, NY, 716-266-4992
- Dan and the guys over there a did the majority of the work over the last
6 months. I think their experience in SCCA racing was invaluable. There was
nothing that didn't have a solution in it somewhere. I'd would have been at
it a few more years if it wasn't for them. Now that they've done one, they'd
love to do another - if you're around here, give them a call.
Aunt Sis - Helped me clean, scrape and
assemble the front end.
Craig Autometrics - Provided a place
to work on it for a few years. Doing this kind of thing is much easier
with the tools, lifts and resources of top notch garage available
to you.
Sullivans Collision - Did the first
paint job on it and a lot of 'ding' fixing.
Glenn Towery - Towery's Foreign Car,
Delaware, 302-734-1243 - The most knowledgeable person I've talked
to about V8 conversion MGBs. Always time to help with advice, parts
and info.
